New Album Set For The Black Keys

The thrashy, blues duo known as The Black Keys is ready to add another album to its growing collection. Brothers, the band's 6th studio album is set to be released on May 18th of this year. Of the new album, drummer Patrick Carney tells Billboard "Dan and I grew up a lot as individuals and musicians prior to making this album. Our relationship was tested in many ways but at the end of the day, we're brothers, and I think these songs reflect that."

The release of Brothers follows Attack And Release, the most successful and mainstream album in the groups history, selling over 206,000 copies according to Nielson Soundscan. With the official announcement of the new album, The Keys also released a small batch of tour dates with stops in Iowa, Miami, Orlando, and New York City for the Central Park Summerstage.
